Clam Dunk marks my third fashion week experience with the HE team! It's always hectic and a bit stressful, but so worth it to watch those 10 minutes of the models walking down the runway. It's during that time that I am reminded that at the end of the day, fashion is fun af and I love it.
I was backstage taking photos, a very new experience for me as I have seldom done event photography. I swear Hayley uses the friendliest models which made it a great experience. The makeup look references the the polluted surf club narrative that the collection is inspired by. This gorgeous smoky eye resembles an oil spill whereas the thread is waste from the always wasteful fashion industry. Hair is wet as if they just came out of the ocean. I always love how much thought Hayley puts into the beauty looks and how it ties in with the collection story. For the Get Fresh Company Collaboration we went with a cat eye with a pop of colour for a more streetwear look.
